Introduction to the site

Reviews. We all get them, eventually. Good or bad. High or low. It's inevitable you'll get both at some point. This site was designed to be a place to share the good and the bad. It tries to keep anonymity it's priority, while allowing feelings to be processed.

Good or Bad. Some reviews are absolutely fantastic, yet we might not want to shout out to the world 'look at my newest review!' Here, you can share it.

Reviews are thoughts from the people who read our work. The people who try us to see if they like us. The people who enjoy your books. Reviews are also from people who hate the work. Reviews are critical, cruel and mean. Reviews are sweet, kind, and life-changing. Reviews can be anything.

The focus of this blog is on reviews and inspiration. Keeping the positive in our minds. Our careers (or jobs or hobby) mean the world to us. It hurts when people hate, but it's exhilarating when you hear something amazing you want to share. To get through it, you need thick skin.

But you know what? A compassionate sidekick wouldn't hurt either. Someone to share your joys and sorrows with, people who are like you and on that writing journey just like you.

Also, inspiration. When I don't have one star or five stars to share on Tues./Thurs. (When this blog updates) then I will be putting up something for inspiration. Quotes. Videos.

Doctor Who. He is the most inspirational person I know, even if he's not real (knock on wood.) So yes, you will run into some stuff from him too.

I almost wanted to name the blog A Pile of Good Things and Bad Things, which is what reviews are. It sounded too long though, so I went with Part Way into the Light. However, this is what it is. The good and the bad.
